With its balanced design, “Lalezar” (Tulip garden – Turkish) embodies elegance and structure. Hand-knotted during the early half of the 20th century, Lalezar features a floral lattice design, executed with precision. Motifs are rendered in rosettes, petal clusters, and flowing vine work, reflecting an architectural effect in its repetition and surface. The field has a soft beige ground, which creates a contrast to the detailing in deep crimson, indigo, and soft olive.
Lalezar is knotted using the Ghiordes style with a wool pile on a cotton foundation with medium-fine knot density. It is ideal for both decorative and practical use in elegant living rooms, offices, or boutique interiors.
